We will be leaving shortly. I'm nervous. She's pissy, I clipped her bum more.

I will update as soon as I get home. At the very least, she looks stunning, all bathed, cipped, & combed out. If only she could keep her beard out of her food!

Bea, you're such a beautiful girl.
Turn on all your charm sweetie and there won't be any way they'll be able to resist you.

I was so afraid to read this thread. I was so afraid it would not work out. Oh, dear God! I am so happy that our girl has a home. Waiting with bated breath for an update.

OH MY GOD BEA HAS A HOME FURR-EVER & EVER!!!

These people....oh my god! I talked to them about Bea's issues Sat. They thought over the weekened, deciced if "it was meant to BEA" then she'd be their one & only. They met her - and we all knew it was going to happen. They had already moved a litterpan upstairs, given that I had said she had issues walking up/down stairs. They are going to take her to the vet to have the vet fit her with a harness so she can go for walks if she wishes. She has an ottoman that leads up to a chair up to 2 different windows. She can sit on the backs of the chairs to look out the window. The wet food was no issue, either! The litterpans they had are the "right" ones for Bea, and they used non-scoopable litter for the past cat, no biggie.

I told them if it doesn't work out, let me know, I want her back. She told me I was never getting THEIR cat back.

I called one of the shelter gals who wasn't there tonight....she kept saying "oh my god....you saved that cat's life. She'd be dead if you weren't such a pain in the about this kinda stuff. You saved that cat's life."

And I couldn't have done it without the donations to cover her surgery. You know who you are....

My house seems so much bigger without her here....I have so much more space without having to seperate her from Dorian & Ophelia. And Molly is going nuts being able to run the whole basement with Dory & Ophelia.

Now to get Eden & the kids adopted out!

OH my goodness that's WONDERFUL news, congratulations! I didn't catch this thread at all until I saw your new signature yelling out the happy news. Bea's new owners sound like they've dropped straight down from Heaven, I hope she'll live a happy happy life with them from here on out.

Her new lease of life is all thanks to your infinite patience, you're a star!

There's a special place in heaven for you Nat. Congratulations to Bea on getting her new home. Hopefully being the only cat will allow her to let go of all of her issues.
