Lori rang up all the volunteers last night. We had a rash of out-of-state adoptions since the adopt-a-thon, and had 14 dogs waiting for transport. Well, yesterday, she got it finalized with several rescues in Maryland, Maine, New York and Rhode Island to place 66 other dogs and puppies in rescues.
So, we made a party of it, pizza and sodas, walking dogs and getting them ready for the trip, walkers saying good bye to their "long timers", prepping the Van and so forth.
Everyone got a 25 to 30 minute walk before loading up.
This was my charge, a cute little Terrier mix named Sadie
