So I called the vet today, he said that Jinx lost her kittens. I am really sad about that. She will be getting spayed on Thursday
I am so upset!

I'm so sorry about the loss of the kittens. RIP, little babies.

Good for you for getting her spayed right away.

I'm so sorry! At least you know that there are just that many more homes freed up for other kitties in need. At least you still have Jinx, though, and maybe if you want to help out some kittens, maybe you could offer to foster a pregnant mama some kittens.

She was only pregnant with two and I was going to keep them. I am actually not sure if there is any pregnant cats around here to foster.

So sorry to hear of your disappointing news
How far along was she? Maybe you'll be able to find some babies in need, to help fill the void - on my way home from Reno, I got a call on my cell phone from a town 60mi away from mine about 5 baby ferals that were trapped & now they're with me!! At least I was notified while I was in the city so I could by some Royal Canin Babycat & some canned kitten food - these little guys are about 5wks.
It could happen to you, too, just when you least expect it

I think she was about 7 weeks. Not exactly sure.
I am not sure. I have checked out the shelter and the spca and they dont really have any pregnant cats. But I guess I could keep my eye out.

Do they know why she lost them?
My Coco was 10 when she had her only litter.
She is my cat that can not be fixed.
I was so scared the whole time she was preg but she did ok.
She had 3 fast before 9am then the two dead male calcos came.
They came after 9pm one deformed.
Coco almost got to be a foster mom also.
The vet asked me if we can foster a few kittens because the mom ignored them.
I said yes but the mom started taking care of the.
This persn that let Coco get preg has a preg cat now.
My Oreo is from her last litter a year ago.
I feel guilty not taking a kitten again.

The vet said her body absorbed them. I dont quite understand that really. But what can I do?

If there was a pregnant cat that needed a home I would take it in.

Its not really kitten season now so I am not sure if you will find one.
We kept Stormy from Cocos litter but I lost her at age 5 last Dec to Kidney Failure. I hope you find a cat you can help.

Oh I am so sorry.
There could be some motherless kittens to foster. Kitten season is over but there are always kittens year round. Doesn't mean the cats stop going in heat. It just isn't as much and as often.

Awwww, I'm so sorry for your loss.
That must be terribly heart breaking. Just like catsknowme said that needy mama will find you when you least expect.

I am so sorry to hear about Jinx.
I know how much you were looking forward to your kittens.

I KNOW that a needy moma will find a good home with you. Be patient and the right queen will come along. There are WAY too many people out there that don't take care of their furbabies. A momma will soon find herself VERY lucky to be in your care, just like I hope our Mia feels.

We did not look for her in the least. She just happened into our lives. I can't tell you how blessed we are to have her and now her litter of 7. Be patient with yourself. Ok?
