My cat is 5mo now and sometimes he is the biggest brat ever!!! This happens almost every day....Marley(the cat) likes to sneak attack Baron(the dog) He runs up to his face, sometimes he grabs on, sometimes he doesn't. Baron usually just lays there. Now, if Marley goes to lay down and Baron goes up to him, Marley lets out an awful meow, swats at Baron an tries to bite his face. When I go to correct him, because to me this is unacceptable, Marley bites me!! Now I know some of you are going to say not to interfear but it's just rediculous that he acts like this. Marley runs up, over, on Baron all the time and he is always attacking his tail. Baron is usually very goos about not responding but when he does Marley totally lashes out and gets mean. I know Baron isn't hurting him becuase I see what is going on. Lets just say he doesn't play well with others, he's the bully on the playground!! How do I teach him to knock it off?? I've learned, being a first time cat owner, that they aren't as easy to train as dogs, at least not for me

Personally... he's just playing.

That's how my dog and cat play. It looks like they're trying to kill each other, but the next thing you know they're cleaning each other's ears...

Well I know hes playing when he runs up to him, but I don't think he is when he is meowing at him and trying to bite his face. My cat is very vocal all the time and this isn't a plesant meow. He sounds really ticked off, and thats the only thing I'm concerned about. They play a lot but when he does that, he's not playing.
