i just checked my email, and i have 1540 spam all from the same source.

Report the spammer's IP? See if your ISP can block the emails from it and if their ISP can shut them down.

I'd like to help with the dismemberment. I can put that "A" I received in my Butchery class in 1993 to good use.

Ah, but the odds are good that the actual source is a friend of yours who has your e-mail address in his address book.

I have a friend who never runs any virus, spam, adware, or firewall protection, except the Windows firewall. Every 3 months or so, he just formats his disk and reinstalls all his software. I can tell when he does it; my spam count suddenly drops from 50 a day to 1 or 2 per day.

I have a web mail account that I use specifically just for this purpose. Whenever there is anything that requires an email address for online, I just use this "spam" account. That way I can just purge the account every now and again without having to worry about deleting something important.

Anyway. Sign me up for dismembering one of Spamee's digits!

Can;t this be reported, and charges brought in some way? I don;t know who you report it to, but there have been cases where mega-spammers have been prosecuted (I think???). I know how annoying this must be! Good luck!
