My cat Ripley was named after a train at Disneyland, the E.P. Ripley. My cat Cali was named after the theme park California Adventure. Ever since we adopted them, I wanted to get a picture of their names.
Ripley's name would be easy, all you would have to do is take a pic of the name of the train. Cali's name would be a little more difficult. In front of California Adventure are HUGE letters that spell out CALIFORNIA. It would be simple to take a picture of the first 4 letters, CALI.
The problem with that is I didnt want anyone in front of the letters. And with the letters being VERY popular, there were ALWAYS people at the letters, either on them or standing in front of them. So it was VERY difficult to get a picture with just the letters.
I just bought a new camera and went to Disneyland and California Adventure to test it out. Since there weren't alot of people at either of the parks, I thought it would be a great day to try to get the picture I wanted. AND.......I FINALLY got it!!!!!!! Granted it took me 20 minutes waiting around untill there wasnt anyone...But I got it!!!!!! AND it turned out better than I expected!!!! I waited untill no one was IN FRONT of the letters...but I expected to have people in the back ground...BUT when I was able to take the picture, there wasnt anyone in the background either. So..... I got a picture of just the letters with out anyone else!!!! I was SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!
