So I come home and Harley is playing with a--------dead mouse.

Meowmy was thrilled since Daddy is out of town!

Ewww! Meowmy doesn't like this toy! Although she is happy that he choose to just play and not eat.

Why get all bent out of shape for a cat doing what God or Nature or Evolution designed cats to do?

ETA: After all, is that not why humankind invited cats into our homes in the first place--to destroy the vermin that were eating our grain? Even more reason not to get upset about a cat killing or even eating a mouse. That is what cats are FOR.

That is so my worst fear--that it will end up in my bed! I wanna take a wash cloth and wipe his little face off! He is such a cuddler and lover and wanted to be in my bed last night and I was like "listen buddy you played with a dead mouse all day, meowmy don't want you suckling on her nose right now"

I mentioned in an entirely different thread on an entirely different subject in an entirely different section about the Pink Floyd song, "Keep Talking." It has a recording in it of Stephen Hawking explaining that learning to talk freed up our imaginations and made invention possible for the human race.

But some historians believe that a second development, very early in the history of mankind, made it possible for cities to thrive. That development, which they believe took place somewhere in Egypt, was the "domestication" of cats who were willing to trade some of their freedom for the ability to hunt freely in graineries for the vermin that ruined the stored crops.
