This video is really interesting.

How big is the universe? There is some discussion down in the IMO section, but this video is important to all of us. It's about what NASA calls "The most important photo ever taken."

I'm an astronomer-wannabe, and even worked as a volunteer for Carl Sagan during a conference years ago... so I know a little bit about this stuff, and it still just completely dazzles me!
Once you really absorb the perspective this video provides, your whole way of thinking is inevitably changed. Thanks for sharing this!

INCREDIBLE!!!

I've always thought there was no way in heck we were the only ones!!! Amazing! I just hope that we find life in another galaxy in my lifetime. That would be amazing!

Even where there is nothing, there are THOUSANDS of galaxies!!! That last picture was fascinating! With the bright yellow pinwheel (?) galaxy!
