heh, when I was younger and living at home, a homeing pigeon followed me home one night. I found where he belonged but the people didn't want him back because he didn't make it home. So I kept him because I didn't know what else to do, at night he lived in my garage and during the day I just let him out. He was very people friendly and never strayed very far. When I went off to University one of my neighbours who has doves and peacocks took him (pigwidgeon) and he lived the rest of his days out with the doves.

Over the river and through the woods...
Awww, poor sweetie, but it looks like he found his new home whether they like it or not. And, I'm guessing pidgens can survive winter IF they have shelter because we have a ton under bridges that always come out after snow storms are over. I would say they have to move the air con and whatever they are moving it with, set up something for Trouble, and settle down for the winter with their new friend.
