I just tripped over a Cat that seems very friendly

I went outside to check my Fruit Trees and a White Cat with spots that I have been seeing in our yard kept meowing to me. I didnt pick him up because I do not know what germs he has but he is very friendly and looks fixed. I wonder if he belongs to anyone or is a stray. He meowed to me and hugged me. He also tried to come in my House.

I am wondering if he belongs to someone or is a stray.
He has long fur and seems very nice.
He is the 3rd cat I have seen in our yard since we moved here.

How's his weight? If he looks like he's been eating well and is coat is in good shape he probably has a home nearby.

He is fat and looks healthy.

Well as long as you always see him around looking healthy, he's not looking for a new home. Just trying to make friends with you - who knows, he might have a few friends in the neighborhood that give him snacks, too, and that's why he tried to come inside.

I will try to get a pic of him and post it next time I see him.

You can always get a break-away collar and tape a little note to it, saying this kitty was in your yard and you were hoping he had a home - and put your name and number on it. That way you can be sure.

Buy a cheap break away collar. Use a sharpie indelible (won't wash out)
marker. Write:

"Who am I?" "I EAT AT yr. address" other side of collar, write yr.
tel. no.

If the cat is owned the owner MAY (proably will) call to tell you
the cat is owned. Worth a shot!

I love kitty friends. We have a few that are owned that come by to look int he window at my cats. Somehow my cats seem to know they are no threat. Seldon gabs to them through the window.

I have had a few do that here. I heard Coco meowing in the other room so I went in there and there was a real nice looking longhair cat with points out there.
