New here and 1st time cat owner

Hi everyone!

I been lurking around and just wanted to let everyone know how beautiful your cats are!

Anyway, i have a 4 months old himalayan kitten! He is the funniest thing ever. Likes sleeping in the sink and in dirty laundry.

He is my 1st serious pet ( i had about 10 hamsters in my life time)

I'm 22 yrs old and live in Baltimore.

Can;t think of anything else right now so i'll just attach a few pictures.

Oh almost forgot, his name is Elvis because he acts/thinks he is a king..not to mention he is super spoiled! I think he is going to be a big boy because he is 16 weeks old and is already 5.5 pounds! He LOVES Wellness dry kitten food (thanks to advice on his form i went from Iams/Purina to Wellness and i didnt even have to mix food in to switch him...he just went straight to new food and LOVED! it!!)














SORRY FOR SO MANY PICS!! CAN YOU TELL I AM SLIGHTY OBSESSED WITH HIM?! HAHA

I once asked here what were some things non-cat-owners did not know about cats, and one reply was how funny they really are!

Ask any questions you want to in the various forums. You are sure to have a lot that is new to you.

One tip: I would avoid letting him play around all those electrical cords. Cats (especially kittens) are notorious for chewing on cords, and we wouldn't want your precious baby to get electrocuted!

he was actually sleeping in the wires lol..usually he doesnt chew on them

Pretty (or handsome) boy - I used to live in Baltimore. Did you get him from a breeder. There are several Himi breeders that I know in the area

Don't know them but cats look pretty decent. She does show, they are titled; not super extreme but nice looking persians/himis
