You are so mean!

Karen, can you PM me who katie's SS is, so I can sit back and snicker too?

HEY!! Were you the type that snuck into your parent's closet before christmas and opened up the presents to see what you got? Then closed them up so they wouldn't know you did it?

Why do I know that this can be done?

You know what's funny? So many of you are going to get Catnip Buddies this year that all of you are going to think I'm your SS!

Just wait to see what other people have ordered.

I'm not telling. Nope, not me.

Tch, tch.....what kind of kids were you guys?

Mind you....I didn't wait until they were wrapped.....I went searching through the hiding places in the house when mom and dad were gone to see what they'd bought....being an only child, I knew they had to be for me...especially since I was in charge of wrapping moms gifts to dad and dad's gifts to mom......

It was the same in my house except my mom did wrap all her gifts! My dad always got me to wrap all his, except if they were for me.
I actually didn't really go looking for them. Sometimes I would find them by accident looking for something else.

Of course, I knew that they were all mine since I have no siblings. Probably only one of the benefits of being an only child.

Lol! Glad I'm not the only one! Now, my folks did get my goat one year. I found a portable black and white tv hidden.....couldn't wait until Christmas so I could use it........come Christmas Day, it was nowhere to be found under the tree!!! After all the gifts were opened, I'm sitting there trying to figure out why the tv was up there if not for a gift.....dad "remembered" one more gift and came dragging it in!

Ha ha!!! I remember trying to find whatever my sister had gotten for me for Christmas. I remember tearing the entire house apart trying to find it. It was driving me beyond bonkers. Christmas came, and I never found the darn thing (the only time it had ever happened, I might add!) Can you figure out where she hid it???

It very easy to slit tape and then put annother piece on top with no one noticing.

Some of my real-life friends say the same.

My mom was really sneaky and evil when it came to wrapping gifts. She would wrap her gift in old "christmas light" boxes or something you would think it really was, when in reality it was something else. One year I did think I had gotten christmas lights.

I had that happen once! My grandma made me a doll and put in a phone box! I was 5 at the time and was totally psyched I got a phone

my mom used to hide the presents under her waterbed, there was a cupboard type thing running all the way to the back right thru the middle, me and my sister would crawl in there with a flashlight

when I run out of boxes to wrap things in I go look in the pantry.

cereal boxes are great for wrapping up things.

also, cracker boxes, fruit roll boxes, etc....

my family now knows its not necessarily what the box is.

Thats a good idea to order something by mail and have it shipped directly to your SS house.

I may have to look into that!!

I never unwrapped gifts but I would find a few before wrapping. My dad did his shopping the day before Christmas so when he bought something, it was always a surprise.

I found the cutest thing today. I went into a Ben and Jerrys scoop shop (so fun!) and they had little tiny ice cream pints of lip balm! I wanted to buy one (for my person) but they were $4 and there was probably less than a stick of lip balm in there so I just couldnt make myself spend that much money on it
