I read this on my pit bull forum and decided it would be a good idea to share it, seeing as they make a product for cats as well..
Scary stuff! I'm glad the puppies came out alright in the end though.
I've never used this product, I've never even heard of it, but I'll stay far away from it in the future...

This type of thing is exactly why here at TCS we recommend that people do NOT use over-the-counter medications of any kind for their beloved pets. It's often cheaper in the long term to get meds from a vet (either because the OTC stuff often doesn't work and you end up paying for both that and the good stuff) and it's safer to get meds from a vet. Vets know the proper dosage for the weight/age of your animal.

IMO, unless one is trained as a vet, then there is no way they are qualified to diagnose/prescribe any type of medication whether it be for fleas or a medical condition.
