Such a gorgeous secretary you have... Although she's not exactly what you might call a hard worker

oh it's DEFINITELY dad's show

I've always watched all sorts of racing. I raced supercross bikes when Iw was young and my dad raced before me. So it's just kind of part of my life.

A man who helps birth kittens, saves one from probable death, not bad looking (from picture in other thread) and likes Nascar?? If I wasn't already married I might get in on the bid for you.

You've seen my car, right?

Not a race car, but plenty zippy enough!

Oh man you're a lucky LUCKY man. That is just absolutely beautiful. Did you build it? What are the numbers? motor, BHP etc?

Wow wow! I love that.

I have a 'thing' for white mitts like this.

And to make it worse, ALL 7 of my new kittens (foster) have them.

I would love to nap in my job, but it's difficult as I work day duty instead of night!

It's a 1923 Ford Model T Touring Car. Or, at least, that's how it's titled. Nothing from 1923 on it, although it is pretty old. According to Norm Grabowski, it was probably started in Tex Smith's shop sometime around 1965. He was judging by the welds, the manufacturer of the body, etc. It was never completed. I bought it as an abaondoned project in 2001, took it apart, and started over.

It has a Chevy 350 bored .030 over, so it's actually a 357. It's a high-nickel block, but almost bone stock. A little bit of cam, an after-market intake, worked-over 882 heads (those are stock, but better than the ones that were on it originally), and Edelbrock carb, a TH350 transmission, a Ford 8-inch rear end. Vega steering box, 1965 Mustang radiator (they're cheap at O'Reilly, and fit in a Model T radiator shell, not that I have one any more).

It dynoed at 209 to the ground, so it would probably be about 250 at the flywheel. But it only weighs a little over 2,000 lbs, about what the old VW's weighed, so it does OK. I keep the local brats and their fart-can exhausts humble.

For what I have in it, you couldn't buy a good used Harley. And while it has a back seat, most of the guys in our club don't. National T Bucket Alliance (I used to be national VP of that club.) We have plenty of guys who have way less than $10K in a car, and a number with as little as $3,000.

And, when it's parked in the garage, the cats like to go out there and sleep in the seats.

Oh, and the color was chosen by my wife. It's the same color as a truck we used to have.
