So much for the couch...

I just had to cut a gaping hole in it. Gus somehow got inside the couch and couldn't figure out how to get out. I was afraid to flip it over with him in it. He was trying to claw his way through the side. I had to go cut a huge hole in the back of the couch to pull him out.

I had to cut into a couch once to take a cat to the vet. Cat saw the carrier and found a way to burrow through the cushions, down below the springs of the couch. Luckily I was able to flip mine over and cut through the bottom though! Sorry about your couch. I'm glad your kitty made it out though!

Sounds DREADFUL but I'm sure it will give you the giggles--SOMEDAY! The visuals were great for me and gave me a much needed smile. Silly kitty--curiosity got the best of him.

Sorry about your couch. I've had two eaten by dogs--not fun.

I decided that when we get a new couch (someday....) I will be stapling chicken wire to the underside of the couch. Nobody will see it and good luck to the cat that tries to get through that!!

Gee, I really hope that your coach is up against a wall.

It is against the wall now! I actually rearranged the furniture last week, but before that it was not.

I'm sorry about your couch...I've never had my kitties get stuck in there and hope that i never do of coarse if it comes between my cats and the couch bye bye couch i'd do the same thing..lol

That is absolutely horrible! And please do not think of me as a ghoul, but I would like to see a picture of your couch. I am having a hard time imagining where Gus could have been that he could not get out.

Oh dear , we almost had to do that when one of pet rats got down there! silly fuzzbutts!!

So far we have had

Rips in cutrains and net curtains where the kittens thought it was a climbing frame , pee and poo on bed sheets :/

But not ruined sofa YET i dont put anything past these little fuzzbutts
