we are taking her in on Monday morning and probably won't have her back until Tuesday afternoon...they like to keep them there an extra 12 hours or longer after surgery, just to make sure she recovers well....My stomach is in knots and I am very nervous...I don't know why...she has no clue what is about to happen...i know she will be just fine but I have bad nerves I guess..oh well....she was suppose to have had it done 2 days ago but things came up, but anyway..say a little prayer for her...
I also wanted to ask about, when I bring her home, will Rocky resent her? will his attitude change or will he be able to notice something is different about her?

She may smell different to him and you may have a few problems. Make sure to keep them apart a few days and rub them with the same towel, Rocky first. I hope this helps!

I know how you feel, I have to get my 4 month old neutered soon. He is a shelter kitty and I have to take him back in for the neuter, he has been sick and he has to recover fully first. I have to leave him overnight and I dont want to, I will worry about him soo much. I wish I could leave him in the morning and pick him back up in the afternoon but they require I leave him the afternoon before the neutering and then pick him up late that afternoon after it is done.

I remember when we got one of our cats back from being neutered. One of our other cats, was growling and hissing at him, like he'd never seen him before. He finally figured out, Oh yeah, I guess I do remember him. But he smells different.

Just think, you are doing a good thing for your kitty and they bounce back so quickly.
