Butzie was out all night again Sat. I didn't let her out at all on Sun. and she didn't even complain that much because she knew that I was not happy.

I let her out at 7:30 this morning. I am such a softie.
9 am she comes back into my bedroom with a mouse - alive, of course. I told her that she was a good girl and a good mouser. She played with that mouse until 11 am when it died. I felt bad about that, but the mouse's number was pretty well up when Butzie caught it. Besides, I think that Butzie was trying to say that she was sorry.

She must have been really sorry. I walked into the kitchen and saw Butzie lying on the glass dining room table. I heard Sandy Koufax chirping. I thought that he was perching on the chandelier. I look and there is Sandy, talking to the bird in the glass at the other end of the dining room table.

I rushed over and chased Sandy, who was not the brightest bird at that moment.
Butzie was watching, but not crouching.
I told her again that she was such a good girl.

Boy, Butzie did one heck of a job apologizing to me.

Aww that's cute! I take it to mean Butzie usually tries to eat Sandy when he's on the chandelier?
