Everytime I want to reply to a post, I always click on Quick Reply.

As of today everytime I have been clicking it, it's almost as if I have pressed the quote button instead, as what the person has typed always comes up.

Anybody know why?

Sorry if this sounds confusing!

Thanks

Laura

Below the box where you type in your quick reply should be an option to quote the message when you reply. Make sure that box isn't checked. It's to the left of the option to show your signature. Hope that helps!

I've had a look and the box isn't ticked
It never lets me type in that box, it says I must click on the Quick Reply icon.

Thanks anyway

Did you change skins? Are you sure you're clicking the icon on the far right? It's a bent arrow or a quill pen, depending on the skin.

It seems to be working OK now
I hadn't changed skins and I made sure I was pressing the right button.

Thanks anyway!

Have you by any chance had recent updates to IE? I've been having some issues, and just restored my system to before the updates, and that has helped. Is it doing it with several browsers?

What's IE?

It hasn't been doing it with any other browser or site either

Yes, just to let you know I am a blonde

And now I know that, the answer is no to the updating. Nothing's been updated.
