I had a large size which I opened to give to our feral kitten with the plan to give the rest in installments as we got her siblings. It sat on the kitchen bench overnight in a plastic cup, ate through the cup, then did this to our kitchen bench top - completely stripped it. Can you believe we put this on our cats? Can you believe they occasionally lick it off themselves if it drips too far. Scary...

I used a flea treatment on my pets---ONCE. It ate through my dog's back in a similar fashion and caused her a world of misery. Never again.

Advantage will eat through acrylic nails. I learned this when I first starting working with animals and had fake nails. Needless to say I don't have fake nails anymore.
