Bottle Babies..help bloated!

Hi,
My foster Tyra had two kittens on the 30th, so they are 9 days old. I had to start bottle feeding them at 4 days, and they are doing well. But I just finished feeding them and I noticed their bellies are VERY round and seem very bloated. They peed every time I feed them and poop maybe 2-3 times a day after not going for the first two days. I pat their back and rub their bellies every time too. I don't always get a burp, but I do try several times. I just fed them and noticed when I tap their bellies they seem to have a lot of air in them. I tried to get them to burp again, but they won't. I can't get them to poop either. Will they be okay, or should I take them in the to the ER vet? Please help.

All babies tend to get very full round bellies when they've had a lot to eat. When they start to get hungry again, you'll notice their bellies won't look as full.

If they don't poop in the next 24hrs then I'd think about giving the vet a call.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things for them - So just keep them nice and warm, and I'm sure they'll do just fine

Thanks, I called the vet and he said the same thing. I have lost babies in the past(fostered puppies, they died at 5 and 7 days after mom refused them after a c-section), so I worry about every little thing with these babies. Thanks again.
