How many of you nice folks own kitties with..."quirks" ? Maybe one with extra toes or one missing a few. Didn't you just fall in love with them at first sight?

My cat Thor is a big boy (~20 lbs of LOVE!) and he's a little bit cross-eyed! I think it's adorable! Vet has assured me there's nothing wrong with his eyes, some cats are just like that.

What about you, does your kitty have any quirks?

My cat Alice has very tall ears, a fat body(we found her all plump like that, totally not our fault! I swear!) and a thin little tail(about as thick as your index finger probably). When I first met her I thought she looked pretty ridiculous... naturally now I think she's a doll.

So, tall pointy ears a swaying belly and a pencil thin tail.

Aurora is polydactyl on all 4 feet and she has 2 extra toes on each front foot. Of course, she thinks she is the queen of the house. Carmelo likes to suck my thumb still

I've got one that will only drink from the dogs water bowl. I have no idea why they both have the exact same one (it's one of those water fountain ones) I never did figure out why she does it hers is in the same place only on a 1/2 wall in the kitchen where her food bowl is I've tried everything to get her to use her own moving her food putting the water on the floor next to his everything i could think of but she said no go and still drinks from his thankfully he doesn't seem to mind it.

Zane has tufts on the ends of his ears like a wildcat, although otherwise he just looks like an ordinary--if tubby--grey tabby.

Well, other than being tubby & just to darn cute, I don't know of any others for Roxy.
Not sure if it's considered a "quirk" but she lays on her back a lot, with her feet just dangling.
We call her "otter" when she does it.

I consider it a quirk & Monster does it ALL the time. When he sleeps, he hardly ever lays normally. He is always sleeping on his back & even when he isn't sleeping, he's still laying on his back. I think its so adorable.

What cute, quirky kitties!!

Are we talking physical quirks, or all of the above?? Evie has many!

Her physical quirks are that she is polydactyl, has half a tail (by birth or accident, no one but her knows, and she won't tell us!), has a "mask", and has a tiny little patch of brown fur on her black cheek that looks dirty and her mommy keeps trying to clean off!

Personality quirks? Psh, don't think I can list them all! She loves to lay broken, looking like she was hit by a truck. She goes crazy kitty at random times. She is addicted to hair ties. She will either ONLY drink out of a running faucet or a cup by the bathroom sink. Which one and when is all up to her! She talks a LOT. And I talk back.
I think that gives a pretty good picture of her quirkiness.
I won't bore you with the rest!

Goldy has a very small lower jaw and her upper fangs are never completely covered. She also usually has a dirty chin because she never gets the food licked off entirely.

Miss Patchwillow has just discovered her tail in the last two weeks (she's 17 months old). The funny thing is, she only chases her tail when she's on the top of a 6 foot tall storage cabinet. One of these days she's going to fall off and knock herself silly--or sillier.

Shareena lays on top of the refrigerator--almost. She actually lays partly on the refrigerator and partly on the top edge of the door. If I don't see her up there when I open the freezer, she falls through the crack. Then of course she stalks away giving me dirty looks.

Pepper has big, chubby toes, and likes to hold my hands with them. She will show you her tummy, but will bite gently if you touch it.

Alley has a spot on her nose. I did not like it at first but have grown attached to it. She tells me it is a beauty spot, like the one Liz Taylor used to have.

Nigel has evil eyebrows like Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

He is just coming up for 6 months old and has lost his baby teeth at the bottom so when he meows or opens his mouth he has a load of huge bright white teeth on show.

Looks silly like we have got him cosmetic dentistry!

My Cats do the SAME thing!! I thought at first, it was because its up stairs, and it gets changed more often. Maybe they like the "freshness". . So, I went and bought them a "fountain" that filters the water. They STILL drink the dogs water!! hmmm. . My dog doesn't mind either, OH well!!!
