I have a problem. I have 7 indoor cats. Four males and three females. I have a war of the sexes going on. The males are all picking on the females. We have had two of the girls in their own bedrooms for months now and the one that is not goes through alot. What can I do.

are they spayed/nutered??
I really don't have any suggestions other than, it sounds like normal behaviour to me...but I am no expert so I am sure someone else will have better advice than me...

Are they really attacking eachother, or do they just play hard?

The seperate down time is good, but I realize they shouldnt' live in one room all their lives.

Have you talked to your vet about any existing or developing medical/behavoiral problems with you gang?

And yes, perhaps you could check out Feliway.

yes they really are attacking each other. One male even stalks my little female all the time so we put her behind baby gates.
