Good Morning...
Well, my day started off GREAT...actually I've not slept yet! I got the best news at 2:00 am....MAX'S MURDERER HAS BEEN formally charged with Felony Animal Cruelty and Brandishing a Weapon, and his trial date has tentatively been set for July 18, 2001!!! I haven't been able to sleep but....I have been able to drink coffee...I dont' know why I do this to myself...but, in lieu of my coffee addiction; I thought some of you may realte to this:

YOU KNOW YOU'VE BEEN DRINKING WAY TOO MUCH COFFEE WHEN.....

* Juan Valdez named his donkey after you.
* You haven't blinked since the last lunar eclipse.
* You just completed another sweater and you don't know how to knit.
* The only time you're standing still is during an earthquake.
* The nurse needs a scientific calculator to take your pulse.
* Your so jittery that people use your hands to shake paint cans.
* Cocaine is a downer.
* You walk twenty miles on your treadmill before you realize it's
Â:censor:Â:censor: not plugged in.
* Charles Manson thinks you need to calm down.
* Your taste buds are so numb you could drink your lava lamp.
* When you call radio talk shows, they ask you to turn yourself down.
* Your life goal is to amount to a hill of beans.
* You channel surf faster without a remote.
* You name your cats "Cream" and "Sugar."
* You have a picture of your coffee mug on your coffee mug.
* You can outlast the Energizer bunny.
* You short out motion detectors.
* Your nervous twitch registers on the Richter scale.
* You think being called a "drip" is a compliment.
* You help your dog chase its tail.
* You're up to four heart attacks a day.
* Your coffee mug is insured by Lloyd's of London.
* You introduce your spouse as your coffeemate.
* You think CPR stands for "Coffee Provides Resuscitation."
* Your first-aid kit contains two pints of coffee with an I.V. hookup.
* You think Columbia would be a great vacation destination!
* You're passing everybody on the freeway when you suddenly realize:
Â:censor:Â:censor: you left your car at home!

:laughing2: :laughing2:

It's time for me to get to bed! Have a great day!!!!

Love &

My spelling is getting very bad, I know, so i should just give up. Talk to you guys tomorrow, no, today. Whatever.

Thats wonderful news about Max!!!
I can relate to the coffee addiction. I am a real junkie. Sometimes I catch myself drinking it at 10pm!! I am so used to it though that I can go to sleep but am up all night using the bathroom.
Happy Saturday all!! I am so sore I can hardley move. I decided yesterday to get ALL my stuff done. So I washed all those wonderful storm windows in the house. For anyone who has never seen these wonderful things...they have 2 panels of glass then the 2 that are set into the frame and then the screens. It took me 6 hours to do all of them. Of course now it will rain and look like poo again. So I was done about 4 and decided to go ahead and get the house cleaned. I was cleaning until 830 last night. Hubby was nice enough to do the rigs for me!! Now I feel as though I was beat up but can relax now. I just wish it was going to be sunny this weekend. Our 1st 3 day weekend and NO sun. I want to garden,BBQ and play in the sun dang it!!! Hope everyone is off to a good start for the long weekend

Well, today is a good day... because I'll be seeing hubby in about 24 hours! I have missed him, though having my hands full with things to do time has gone by quickly.

We're waiting and waiting and our new chicken, whom we names Chiks, has not laid a second egg... We have built her a great large pen where she goes around on the grass, eats seeds and looks very happy - but where is our egg?

Well, it's great to hear from Catarina 77777 that Max's murderer is one step closer to what we hope will be justice. That's "good" news enough for one day!

In the U.S.A., it's a "three-day weekend" thanks to Memorial Day. The theory behind Memorial Day is that we remember the sacrifices made by those in military service, but that's not as politically correct as it once was. Although, with the release of the film Pearl Harbor, there's a flurry of "remembering" by the media of communication.

Here in Portland, it's a beautiful day — weather-wise! All's well here with we three. May all of us enjoy this weekend! Sandie, faced as she is with the daunting task of whipping her home into shape, deserves a great weekend; and I hope she gets one.

Thank you Mr. Cat! Instead of sulking because the weather is not very nice. I decided to do a rainy day task. I baked an open face apple pie and chocolate chip cookies. Of course I am going to take them to Rene's so everyone else can share the calories. As soon as my arms recover from the windows, maybe I should pay a yearly visit to my closets

Sorry to use this as a dumping ground, but I am hissed off.
A friend of ours was running a garage sale this weekend and called on Thursday to borrow a table. She asked if we had anything to sell, and after talking it over with Mike, I took over our pocketknives we have for sale. There were over 30 knives, each knife was clearly marked with an individual price. Mike and I got on with our day, left the knives there and I called her about 2:00 to see how it was going. She proudly told me that she sold all our knives!!!! I was thrilled and asked her for how much? She told me that she sold all the knives for $60.00! There were over $350.00 worth of merchandise there and she sold them ALL for $60.00???????? Mike is so upset and I am so flabbergasted. There is nothing we can do about it, one man bought the whole inventory (probably still laughing about it too!) She said she doesn't know who he is, he just showed up, and paid cash. When we went over to talk to her, she gave us $100.00 and wouldn't even look at us. I am so disgusted with myself. I should of gone over there and stayed with the product, but we have known her almost 2 years now, and considered her a good friend. I could understand it if none of the knives had been priced, but all of them were.

I went out and hugged my horses a lot today, and my cats too. Shredder and Kabota have been staying pretty close, they didn't like their trip to the vet to be neutered. Thank God for animals, at least you can trust them. I just don't know what to do with what I am feeling right now. I am hoping that putting it here, will help me work out the anger as anger is very unhealthy

that's horrible. sheesh, what was she thinking? how strange that is.

i know you arent doing well for money this month, either am i! so, i know
this comes as really horrible news for you, and i feel awful for you.

it's okay to vent, feel anger, i tend to think of it as a natural, healthy
emotion, as long as it is not directed harmfully at others. you know?

what would we do if we couldnt vent? you have every right to be hissed

i would probaly be in tears if it were me

if it helps any, you've been in my thoughts a lot lately.

here, i picked you a flower earlier

You have the sweetest soul! I have been in tears all day, but the damage is done and there is nothing that can be done about it now. I just wish I knew why in the world it happened, something just doesn't smell right about the whole deal

I'd be mad too! Well, it all sounds "relative" to me, which leads to my rant.

Some relative of the person in charge felt he/she could make lots of money by re-selling your knives — provided he/she could get them cheap. As you probably know, when it comes to "small business" undertakings, relatives are gods. If you've ever worked for a "small business" you'll know just what I mean.

Sonny Boy gets paid more than you do to hang around doing as little as possible during the summer when school is out. Darling Daughter who flunked out of college gets hired over actually-qualified people, but for more money. Both of them act like they own the place. And the owner de facto agrees with them! Brother-in-law does all the handiwork around the place, then real handymen have to be brought in to fix his messes.

But I've saved the best part for last: the spouse. Ah, yes, the darling spouse who treats everyone like dirt and has hiring/firing power over everybody even though he/she "officially" doesn't even work there.

Tax breaks for small businesses? You bet, just as soon as all traces of nepotism are eradicated! (This will never happen.)

Garage sales are merely "small business" operations of a temporary nature, but the "relatives" factor remains in place. Pardon me, while I go vomit.

Hmm my day..more painting...That's about it. My mom broke my sister's window Thursday afternoon while trying to clean hard water scale off it. This is a huge bummer since it was right before Memorial Day weekend. The local glass shop was closed Thursday and will be closed til Tuesday.

Hmm on a happier note, we had fried chicken breast strips for dinner. But I did eat so much I feel sort of ill now.

I know there was more I wanted to type but I forgot, as usual.
