I just went to check something on the TV Guide channel, and there was some guy singing Without You. I don't know who he was, but he sent chills down my spine!
That song usually does anyway, but it also depends upon who's singing it.

There's another song that really gets to me, but I can't think of the name of it, or who sings it.
(I think it's Hold Me, Kiss Me, Thrill Me, but I'm not sure). Englebert Humperdinck (sp?) singing After the Lovin' makes me weak in the knees, too.

I'm not a hundred percent sure, but it's close.

I don't know why I didn't think of running a search! What a dummy!

If it's the one I think you mean, it was done by a group way back in the 50's or 60's. I'm trying to remember but it's not coming to me.

If it's a more recent one you are thinking of, Clay Aiken did one with that title.

Are you thinking of the beautiful, heartbreaking song recorded by Harry Nilsson in 1971?

No, I can't forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess that's just the way the story goes
You always smile, but in your eyes your sorrow shows
Yes, it shows

No, I can't forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrows
When I had you there, but then I let you go
And now it's only fair that I should let you know
What you should know

I can't live
If living is without you
I can't live
I can't give any more
I can't live
If living is without you
I can't give
I can't give any more...

Harry didn't write it, but nobody ever sang it with more feeling.

You're right it's - "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" - Mel Carter
(you don't get any better than that version in my opinion!!!)

It's one of my absolute favorite songs! We danced to it at our wedding (Navy tradition around here!) It seems as if they always play that song at dances before deployments too.

That is the version that I remember and it really tugs at my heart strings. That was one of the songs I would listen to over and over when I went through a breakup. ()

That's the one I couldn't think of what the exact title was. But I was close! And it was Mel Carter.
