My cat has had really goopy eyes since we got her. She was 2 months then, now shes 4 months. When we brought her home from the shelter we got her checked out at the vet and they said she had a respiratory infection. We gave her the medicine as perscribed and the sneezing went away but the goopy eyes remained. I wasn't really to worried but its been getting worse. I have to get the gunk out of her eyes everyday now. She doesn't seem sick at all, so is this a problem?

First of all, let me say she is a cutie!!

Is the goop colored? If so, there's an infection present and she needs to go back to the vet for drops. She could still have a touch of the upper respiratory infection or an eye infection. If you notice that her eye is "weepy" or runny, but the fluid is clear, then just wipe it off with a warm wash cloth.
