Question about kittens and the cord, and how soon can they get there shots?

the runt still has alittle piece of the cord attached. Is that okay? I don't see it on the other too. The other two have there eyes open now!!! the runt is justtttt starting!

Also how soon can they get there shots? And how soon can i get mommy fixed? I can let her stay with the babies even after she is fixed, but I would like to get her fixed as soon as possible so she doesn't go into heat again.

Snouggie's kittens were born the April 5 2003 and the cord on the second one just dropped off yesterday. I talked to my vet and he said it was fine. It will drop off . The eyes opened on Baby just 2 days ago. Patches eyes are just now slits. Neither have their ears open.

Shots should be started between six and eight weeks the same as for puppies. This is directly from my vet.
