Hello everyone,

I have had Keegan for 3 weeks and he is a different kitty than when I first brought him home. This past week he has wanted to be held, he is purring constantly, and he is playing all the time. He was only eating, sleeping, and pooping. Is that normal for him to just change??..??

If I haven't read your post wrongly, Keegan was less active when he first came to your home, and now he's active, playful and sociable.

This is definitely a good change, you must be giving him lots of love
How old is Keegan and how did you come about having him?

If, however, its the other way around (he was active and playful and now is listless), I suppose you'd better have a vet check him over.

To clarify.... He was just sleeping, eating, pooping, and occasionally playing with the dogs when I first brought him home....but in the last week he has become affectionate and playful with me, and he still loves the dogs...but he crawls up on my lab for a rub, and he attacks me playfully all the time. . . .

He is 18 weeks old, and I bought him from a lady in my area. He is a bluepoint himi.

and he goes back to the vet in 2 more weeks

He has had soft feces since I brought him home and it isnt getting any better, so when he goes back to the vet I am going to have the vet send a sample to be sure he doesnt have trich, or bacteria, or something......

He is otherwise a VERY healthy boy!

That means he is very comfortable now. Omelet the first few weeks was kinda shy, loving, but now he is EXTREMELY loving
