Hey guys, got a question! I got a kitten 2 weeks ago from a student at my campus- he was found abandoned in a barn, but besides a minor eye infection (which is gone) he is doing fine.
He was bottlefed for the first week on kitten formula given to us by the vet, and we started giving him canned kitten food which he now eats exclusively at 6 weeks of age. The only problem is, he refuses to drink any water to our knowledge. He is fine with drinking his formula mixed with water from a cat bowl, but between myself and my two roommates we have never once seen him drink plain water. My animal science roommate says he isn't dehydrated, and he runs around like any other kitten, but I can't help worrying.
I've never had a kitten this young before. Is this a problem? Should I be worrying about this at all, considering he's on a diet of straight canned food?
Thanks everyone!

Make sure he has cool, clear water available in a bowl that isn't too large, just to be safe.

But if he's eating wet food, he may be getting all the water he needs from the food. That is fairly common.

if you're really concerned, add water to his wet food - & get him a fountain! i personally like the drinkwell.
