I just got off the scale and after this weekend which was a vacation weekend I only gained 2 pounds. As it stands right now I am sitting around 357 pounds. I had Lap Band Surgery a year and 8 months ago and since then I have lost 65 pounds or about 2.7 pounds a month on average, which is actually REALLY low for what I had done considering my age and energy level. Well lately I have been determained to get back on track, I have been stuck in the 370-upper 350 for the last year and a half and I am tired of them.
When I went to see my doctor in May the exercise physiologist tortured me for an hour and wrote up the perfect exercise plan that I have used once. My diet is greatly improved(though I slip up every once in a while) but I DO NOT exercise at all. I am still more active than most patience that have this surgery but thats just because I'm 23 and not 63. I rode that fact to the first 65 pounds of weight loss and now my body has decided its not going to give me any more free pounds.
So I saw my doctor a few weeks ago and ordered some weight loss products he recommened and I also got a heart rate monitor so I can keep in my target heart rate zone. So here is the plan: Work out 3x per week using the custom made work out plan, cut down on unnecessary calories in my day, and walk 5x a week using the monitor to make sure its a cardio work out and not just a stroll in the park.
I am shooting to be down to 320 pounds by December 17th. That means I have to consistently average 2.3 pounds of weight loss per week(I did the math on this). That would put me over the 100 pound lost marker but I am doing this durring one of the hardest times of the year.
Thankfully my school has a free fitness facility that was donated to it by the Chicago Bears(when they used to train here) I just need to get my butt down to it and use it.
Vibes for success would be great.
