I feel like crap!!!!!

I woke up this morning with a cold!!!!

I can't breathe through my nose, my chest and throat hurt and I have a sinus headache


Oh, and Aunt Flo is here too


On top of all this, I have a dentist appointment to have a tooth pulled today that I can't reschedule
It took 2 weeks to get an appointment with them and I don't want to miss it.

Ugh!

Why did I get out of bed this morning?

Colds are in force at the minute. Mine came on thursday, and after i did what i had to do in town on saturday, i was back home, in the bath with my jammies on by 2.p.m, and i stayed like that until i got up for work yesterday

Do you have Beechams cold and flu capsules there?. I swear by those.

I haven't heard of them before?

As soon as I drop the kids off I'm going to stop to get me some Contact Severe Cold & Flu. But I can't take it until after the dentist appt

Their probably the same sort of thing?. Their for aches and pains due to cold/flu, relief of sinus pain, bring the temperature down, and loosens congestion

Alka-Seltzer Cold stuff seems to work for me.

My allergies are in full force today my nose is really stuffy in spite of taking Sudafed about 45 minutes ago.

You should look into buying a neti pot-it really helps to keep the sinus clean.
There have been a few threads about it.

I feel for ya! I called out of work today myself so I can get into the doctors. (I could try to work, but then I'd end up spending like 2 hours driving back and forth today) I think I have a sinus infection, but just on one side of my nose. Walmart and RiteAid were both out of the mucinex for sinuses but DH found a generic one at Rite Aid and it's helping some.

It's very weird that it's stayed just the one side of my nose. It's been plugged pretty much completely the past 3-4 days. My throat is sore and feels so dry. I can't drink enough tea to keep it feeling good it seems. I'm going to my Dr this afternoon to see what she can give me. I'm supposed to go visit my Grandparents this weekend and through next week and I can't afford to pass anything on! One of my Grandpa's is more susceptible to pneumonia and then my other Grandma is in a nursing home so I'm sure there are lots of people there with more susceptible immune systems. I'd never forgive myself if I knew I made one of them sick!

I know!!

It got worse this morning too!!!

On the way to taking the kids to school this morning, we had to drive through some road construction.
Well, Brandon didn't see a HUGE pothole in the road and just as I was about to take a drink of my cappa, he hit it

Yeap.... coffee EVERYWHERE!

So I had to go to the dentist sticky!

THEN when we got to the dentist..... THEY RESCHEDULED!!

So I drove Brandon to work...... sticky

And now I'm home.. I have some cold meds and I'm taking my butt back to bed until it's time to get the kids... in 3 1/2 hours

I just replied "It goes well with how my day is going"
