After reading another thread I started to wonder:

Would a diaper genie work the same as a litter locker? I could probably get one at a garage sale for cheap and the replacements are cheaper...

Just a thought. I'll get the litter locker if it doesn't work.

i think the concept is the same. the diaper genie appears to be somewhat larger than the litter locker - if the dimensions i found online are accurate.

Maybe I'll give it a shot. I don't mind the size, honestly, I'll just empty it more frequently than it appears to need to be. I really would just like to get something, litter locker or otherwise.

Sounds like a great idea! Wish I had thought of it before I bought my litter locker!
