I am hoping someone can give me some advice i have 5 cats and a 5 month old kitten and one of my cats marge who is 2 as just started poopin everywhere and i mean everywhere in the living room, dining room in the hall.the bedrooms on the beds on clothes also on my outside window sills and also my neighbours window sills and on the wheelie bins all over my entry she does not use a litter tray as she has been going outside for over 2 years she has been neutered
I dont know if it is because of the kitten as she has got on very well with her so far and plays with her quite often but i am now lost as to know what to do but this can not carry on

Sounds like a territorial thing like "marking". Cats will reach a point of one too many for territory and it varys from cat to cat.

Before you do anything more, have your cat evaluated for any medical problems (UTI, etc.). Then go from there. It might mean you need to rehome this cat with less pets around.

I agree. If there is no underlying medical issue it sounds like Marge thinks there are too many cats to compete with.

Have you changed litters at all? Do you have enough boxes for everyone? Usually the rule is one for every cat (in your case 6) and one extra (7).

You can try confining her to a small room with a litter pan around the time she usually poops. Keep her there (with toys and water, food) until she poops. Usually, cats won't soil the area around them if it's small enough.

But I agree that a vet visit and re-homing may be the best way to go. She's obviously upset because of the kitten.
