I was looking up random songs and videos on YouTube today, and I realized that I hadn't listened to our "special" song in a while, so I looked it up! And it made me want to ask everyone else if they had one!

So, do you? Do you have a special song that you danced to at your wedding, if you're married? Do you have a special song that was played the night you met, or on your first date, or something else special? Or do you just have a favorite song that you share together, that you both love?

If you have one, tell us what it is, and post a link!

Our song is "You Belong To Me." It was originally written by Dean Martin, but we danced to the cover done by Jason Wade of Lifehouse at our wedding reception. There is some very sweet video footage of our dance on our wedding video.

I don't know if it's really a special song, but when "Right Down the Line" by Gerry Rafferty comes on, Rob always sings it to me. He said the first time he heard it on the radio he immediately thought of me, so he downloaded it and sang it

Our song is "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. It is the first song we ever danced to, and while dancing he said I love you for the first time.

There's a Laurindo Almeida album "Duets with Spanish Guitar" where it particularly "spoke" to us, but the original is wonderful too.

Then there's Dire Straits "Why Worry?"

Ours is "Wound" by the Smashing Pumpkins. I'm not sure why; I think I just may have told her it's a really cool song she should listen to, and then I played it on the guitar for her. Anyway, she had a few lines from it printed on our wedding programs:

Yes, I love it when DH sings "You Are So Beautiful To Me"...not sure who sings it (Kenny Rogers?) but it makes me snuggle close and I have the biggest smile.

He's not the greatest singer, but its "our" song

Our first dance at our wedding was to "There You Are" by Martina McBride:

But I will always consider our song to be "One Headlight". The first time we dated back in 1996, that song was popular, and one of the headlights was out in my car for the whole summer! The song just fit our lives at that point. Stupid, I know, but I still smile when I hear it.

My ex and I had ".45" by Shinedown. Kind of weird to be so special to us, but whatever! We saw them in concert the day after we broke up (unusual but I had already paid for the tickets and I wasn't gonna waste them!) and they of course played it and we danced to it. It was actually really nice even though we knew we weren't together anymore.

We have two very special songs that we love. One we played as our first dance in our wedding "Heaven"- Bryan Adams and one we played for our last dance "Send Me an Angel" - The Scorpians

John Lennon's Imagine was our wedding song and it now plays as a ringtone on both our phones.

I am dating someone but it has not developed into a relationship where would refer to him as my so but I do like him a LOT. He is a physician who is completing a fellowship in orthopedics here in Bos so like me, is tied to his work and ouir social life is very sparse!

When we met at a party, someone had that song "Running Against the Wind" by Bob Seger and while I cannot say that is a great fav of mine, it has sort of become our song. Also, we both do not always listen to convention so the song has meaning there, lol (Not to suggest I am THAT different, lol)
