Sounds like a fun event, and you will LOOOOOOVE Rajaton. They are amazing! They've been to Vancouver several times, and pack every house, regardless what repertoire they are offering -- and they offer everything!

I'm sure you'll have a ball.

We just ordered teh tickets.
Now to decide on the food.

I've never heard of them! But, now I know what I'm getting my mom and sister for their Christmas presents. They both love music and speak Finnish so this will be a nice surprise.

Thanks Fran for pointing them out. I wish they were coming to Toronto, but their upcoming schedule shows them barely in Canada. I'll have to watch for any future shows.

You do not have to like wine to go. How far is that from you? They have lboxed lunches also.

I actually hadn't considered distance, lol. I showed my DH the site, and he liked the idea, too...and then asked if I realized how far Modesto is from us. LOL...it's a FIVE HOUR DRIVE!! LOL!!

I will say, though, we've made longer drives...so we might make a weekend of it! He's such an ABBA fan, he's seriously considering going.

Yea it is about a 5 hour drive. I have met people from your area though. We drove to Las Vegas to mett some one from So Cal.
