Ha! I can't stop smiling after seeing this picture.

I know it is my day off and I am supposed to be taking it easy but thinking of going over to play at the shelter.

Lotus needs help with all those kittens afterall...

They are so precious. She is an amazing kitty who is really special. She does deserve a good home with someone who will spoil her rotten.

Yeesh, if ever something needed a cuteness warning, this did!

Well I went over to play

We tried the other momma cat with them and she is nursing them again but since they are both nursing all the kittens we still can't tell which ones belong to which cat. The theme escaped someone so the second momma is called Hope (they reckon it is computer themed because they Hope the computer works each time it is turned on haha).

Finally, a video of the two (almost identical) mommas together

I cannot believe you just put another Momma beside the other one and they just started sharing, calmly, sweetly, without any problems a big huge pile of kittens, I LOVE THOSE GIRLS, what wonderful cats

I know they are still together and the kittens seem to nurse from both of them, we thought we could work out which kittens belonged to which one by which one nursed them but I guess not. The mommas groom each other and are obviously comfortable with each other and helping nurse the other ones kittens so if they are happy so am I

Wow ...... that would be really sweet if they could find a home together, they have obviously bonded. That is just something that is so rare, especially the grooming part.

You do know I have your address right?

I hope they can go together, but they are adult black cats and we have plenty of them in the shelter so I doubt we will force the issue if someone offers to adopt just one

She just got all the more precious, not only are Hope caring for the babies we found with them but we were brought 4 more babies and can't find a foster so they are babysitting for now too. Lotus seems quite content with more babies but we are supplementing all (including the mommas) just in case
