I will pray that he is safe and returns soon!

I know it is a bad feeling, but it wasn't on purpose. These things happen, just focus on finding him. Keep us posted!

I really feel for you....
When I was in desperate situation like this, I decided to contact animal communicator. I was not able to locate my cat, but knowing the situation from her interpretation made me feel much better.
Here is her web site. She can do this over the phone.

Thank you all. No sightings ... I think though I know which place he went.

It was his "safe" sewer. I called gently down it at 1:45 / 2 am (now)and thought (not sure) I heard noises and possibly a faint mew, but but but
my other 2 kitties were frisking round me as I went so it could have been
them I heard.

The safe sewer connects via a large drain pipe across the road. My
BF god bless will crawl in it (road drain pipe) for me (about 1 ft and 1/2 wide pipe under road) to the drain manhole area and put a stick on mirror and light to see if he is there or we can see ANYTHING while daylight lasts. If we can
then I would GLADLY take that damned manhole cover off on my own
and get down there and find my baby!!!

The drop into the drain is very large he may have hurt himself and be
unable to move out of there. There is a very slight jump UP from the
drain pipe area to the road crossing drain pipe, and so he may be stuck if he can't move well.

Alternately he could do "down hill" and crawl the drains to the large culvert exit.

He hasn't come home, so I worry he isn't able to move far.

My old Diablo at 10 yrs vanished one night - it was dark and cold
and windy - I was worried, but I thought he would return.
8 pm to 8 am nothing, 8 am to 8 pm nothing, so I sadly
thought him gone. 8 pm to 8 am - I find the cat came in
in the night over a fence with no hole in it,
dragged himself thru pet door upstairs and hid under the computer.

Where he had been, what happened I don't know.

But he was barely breathing. I thought he was dead,
and hauled him to vet. He had an air bubble compressing
his heart and was gasping for breath. He recovered but
it was a bit touch n go for 2 days. He had permanent limp/soft tissue
dmage and deep brusing and took weeks to recover
fully. But he lived and he walked
and at 18 is now slowly passing from kidney disease.

I hope and pray this is Frodo - that nothing SERIOUS that
that can't be fixed has happended. A dislocated tail, sure.
A limp sure, we can fix that....

Just praying I can find him before it rains (50 percent
chance on Wed eve Thur am) .....

All pray with me. Dear God, please keep him safe and
reunite us speedily help him to trust me, to come
to my voice and signal where he is,
so I can get him the help and care
and rest he needs... Amen.

This he has done before I think?

It will be ok. He might have been momentarily stunned and is nursing his wounds.

It is not your fault. Just leave some food out for him to help guide his way home.

I hope and pray this is the case. CC please pray. I FELT the bump, and
I ran the car ontop of him!!! Then I stopped and he got out and ran
away, and GOD KNOWS what sort of damage I did!!!

Broken or dislocated bones, internal hemorraging... god alone
knows. Any of those could kill.

I saw my Frogita and Goose playing in the evergreens I
formerly didn't think he could have hid in. They proved
it aint so! Maybe he did hide there, then ran off when
it got dark and quiet to another set of bushes - and/or
went down the drains.

2 neighbors saw a cat with a very striped tail and what they
thought was definitely WHITE go from under a Jeep, to the
drain and jump into the drain by my house. If that WAS
frodo (and we have 2 other white cats it could have been)
then I pray god he was okay,

That drain stem would be a place to hide out.
It can / does exit at the large gully...

I don't know if Frodo has throughly explored it
before but he has gone down before, and
uses it quite a bit, so I would think it likely
the bushes or the drain.

I am praying so hard. I am getting ready to walk
the large drain to peer down the stem drain
with my large and powerful deer light -
it will show me if he is down one part of
the stem, any way.... and if he is,
he can follow it out, if it rains.

He does know to come to the yard, shelter
there from rains, and I hope and pray so hard
he can still move and isn't in danger of death....

Please pray with me he come to front door again?
Or back even... now the new neighbor has dogs
from hell (barking, not fixed, huge dog that is
people shy and dog aggressive. NOT NICE DOG
with 2 other doggies that are crazy dogs too.)

So Frodo would be VERY afraid to come here
sob, sob. Oh Frodo boy, how sadly I misjudged
yesterday.

I am not going to work, I slept nothing at all last night
being up till 3 am... or 4 and then up at 7:30. I
cannot help it, I am so grieved and upset.

I walked the drain and no cat that I could see down either of
the pipe stems where my light shines down.

There is one stem off the drain in front of house
I cannot see down, so he could be in that branch...

Its set to rain hard, and I fear if that's where he is....boo hoo!

Thing is, I'm soo good about banging on cars, and brining in the cats
BEFORE backing car out, and I go and check my cats frequently to
see that they are NOT under cars!!

Goose, Frogita and Diablo were accounted
for but I didn't think of Frodo! So I feel guilty. I could have
kept him indoor only....I didn't because as a feral who lived outside
I thought he knew car safety... guess not.

Now he may be either gone (died) or gone feral and not
responsive, injured with chonic injury of some kind..

If he WAS down the drains, he DID hear me, I am sure of it.
But would he come to me?? That's the million dollar question I have.
Could he? If injured enough might not be able to move well...

I hope not. I leave for the DAKS in 3 days - Friday am my last day
here... please, all. Pray as hard as you can, if you are catholic
say a novena for us. If any cat deserves to surive its him,
and if he does, I'll keep him as mine, indoor only a cherished pet.

Pray pray and pray more... that's all I have left for hope.

Pray eith me he appears and comes in? It will be a miracle such
as I have never known... excepting the survival of my dearest
Diablo...

I have and will continue to pray for you and Frodo.
I know you are upset and have probably been crying. If I were there I would give you a hug, a warm of cup pf tea and then help you look.
Please get some rest and then look for him again.
Could he be under your house?

Over the river and through the woods...
Oh honey,
! This isn't your fault. Accidents happen..that's why they're called accidents. You didn't do this on purpose and I'm sure Frodo knows that.

If you saw him running away then you couldn't have done too much damage. You probably woke him up from a nap and freaked him out but if you had actually run over him, I don't think he would have been able to run away that fast. He's probably laying low licking his wounds (and his pride).

I agree, try walking around with a cat of stinky tuna fish or something to try to entice him out. Sending many come home soon .

Everyone thank you again. It helps to be told not to feel guilty. I am praying, crying and sending warm healing energies to Frodo. If he lives and comes home into the house, I will be over joyed.

I know I hit him, felt the bump in the car - not sure how fast I was reversing out of the parking space, but... also not sure how long he stayed down on the ground, there was a patch of fur, abraded by the pavement. He was
flung hard enough... He could have internal injuries that rapidly lead to
death from shock or broken bones, I do NOT know the extent of injuries
or where/how he was hit while UNDER the carriage of car... jsut that
I didn't run over with a tire, there was no blood and he seemed capable under adrenline rush of fear to move away from the car... even with injuries.

If I ran over anyting, it was paw or the tail tip and if I did it was his tail...i hit with undercarraige as he was trying to get up most likely... or as he began to move away... he was not so stunned he could not move, as with
high impact but could have developed hemorages of brain or lung air bubble, and died later somewhere private.

I am sure he has some injuries, they need care. He needs to be found. I believe he went in the bushes to hide, then moved when it got quiet into the drain system somehow, despite his injuries. Then, where he went I do not know.

He was not in the pipe stem I was able to flash light down when I looked (no lumps or bodies or eyes showing), he is not under houses, I live in townhomes row, no "under" places for him to go except bushes or
someone's garage...he could have escaped via large drain culvert, but
he was not an fan of that. Could have also gone into a secondary drain
that comes out under the road (jumping would be required, so not sure he could even do THAT much...)

Checked the road pipe, can't see into the road drain without I
move manhole but my monies are that is where he is holed up.
Fingers crossed he CAN locomote out enough if it rains to come
home...

My two other kitties are out side somewhere wondering if they
are with him, keeping vigil. Would hope and pray it is so, tho
they were not close to him...

Prayers prayers and more prayers. Going to "patrol" for him again now.
If hurt will crawl off to die or recover until he can make home...praying
for the later.

Please all, your deepest heartfelt prayers that he comes home, he doesn't have to be uninjured, but I want him to have me attending him with peace, warmth and security to help him heal or to pass on if it be so. Not out in the streets...

I know he had love and 6 months of papmering life that he would not have had if I had not taken him in. He was scheduled to be PTS in March as a feral shy cat at the shelter - he had one day left when he was pulled out. I got him 2 wks after and took 2 months to calm him, to where he would
be relaxed, then magically at 3 month mark Iet him outside and suddenly I could pet him and he purred for me.

So, this cat had the best world he could ever have asked for as a kitty,
and I must say, if he doesn't come back, then I take that as my comfort.
But I feel he will try if able to return...

Am going to alert my neighbors in the garage town homes to look for him.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Oh sweetie I am so sorry! You have given him so much love and a wonderful home, and you MUST take comfort in that. As Calico2222 pointed out, accidents happen, that's why they're called accidents.

Do your best not to keep reliving what happened.
Concentrate on sending out loving vibes, and just keep looking. Alert the neighbors and leave out stinky food.

He's made the area around your home his territory, and it is most likely that's where he'll be, somewhere.
Maybe buy a number of flashlights, put fliers in the neighbor's mail boxes that you're searching for your kitty so they don't wonder or get upset for people being on their property, invite as many friends as you can, and leave no bush unturned, so to speak.

Adding my vibes and prayers for his quick return....

I am praying, and will light a candle and ask St. Michael for intercession - I am not Catholic, but a dear friend gave me a little statue of him (not for an idol, but as a visualization tool). I pray directly to Jesus, but my experience with St. Michael is that the saints join in our prayers and yes, wonderful miracles do happen

I agree with this.
I don't think he's hurt too badly. He's probably just scared, and as Calico said, licking his wounds & his pride.

I've been taking care of strays for a long time, and sometimes they disappear for awhile - doing whatever cats do. Most of the time, they come back to "safety", unphased and unharmed. Cats DO have nine lives, you know..

More prayers & vibes for Frudo's safe return!
