Morning folks!

Well today should be interesting..I am going for a wax after work. A wax...*ahem* down under
I have never had anything waxed before, but I have this gift certificate for the spa so I am trying it. I am not even that scared for some reason.

Other than that I will be finishing up some packin stuff.

Sunny and nice today...work is nuts..I am trying to close all my files..and its ALOT of notes for my coworkers so that know whats going on when I leave.

Oh, and I am taking my car in for some $700 repairs today..I wanted to make sure it was safe before driving it to Ottawa and it turns out I need a new front exhaust pipe and I have an oil leak. Oh well, better to get it fixed so Blueington can thrive.

Anyhoo, have a great day folks...wish me luck...errrrrrrrrrr

morning!

Waxing!?! Be afraid, be very afraid!

You couldn't pay me enough to have a stranger apply hot wax to my nether region!

You should look into a place that uses body sugar. It's a whole lot less painful. And you can even do it yourself at home too. More private and less embarrassing.

Nothing much planned today. I have home care coming to clean today, I have to start a load of laundry shortly. I like to wash my bedding before she comes so she can help me make my water bed. I don't have water bed sheets and use standard queen size sheets which require tucking on all 4 sides which is hard on my back, so with her help I only have to do 1/2 of the effort.

Plus it's cat litter box duty today! Abby tends to forget to turn around and often overshoots the side so I have to wash the plastic mats under the box.

And I want to clean out my fridge. I noticed that one of my shelves looks rather dirty and who knows what microscopic nasties are growing there!

Good morning

Supposed to be a hot, muggy, rainy day today. Yippee
It has rained 14 of the last 15 days, ugh. I know we need the rain, but it's so dreary! And I swear everyone here forgets how to drive once the raindrops fall

Trying to get up the oomph to start the work day. I left my badge to get in at home, so I had to try and call/text co-workers to get in
Of course, I left my lunch in the car so I have to wait until HR gets in to get a temp badge. Oy. I'm ready to go home already!

I think tonight I'll go home and have dinner ready for Rob
He took his parents' truck to work because his dad hit a pig (apparently there was 5 or 6 of them randomly crossing the road a few days ago when he was going somewhere for work) and now the truck is running weird (think the O2 sensor got knocked out of whack). So we didn't carpool today and that means I'll get home first. Maybe some honey BBQ chicken
I still have a burn mark on my wrist from the BBQ sauce from the last time I made it

Have a lovely day!

Hello!!
We left the house around 7 am yesterday and got home about 10 pm last night and was tired.
We were up at my nephew's house that they closed on yesterday starting some remodeling.
I weeded/pruned and edged their entire house garage (well phase I) and was mighty sore and tired (still tired). Neil started to frame in a closet and then worked in the kitchen, called one of his brothers for reinforcement and they are moving a wall about 4 feet for the refrigerator. This wasn't planned of course so we are going back tomorrow for me-phase II landscaping then help sheetrock the place!

Today eye doc appt for the both of us, grocery shopping then work in our family room on the ceiling.

Its very cool this morning about 47F so the girls didn't stay outside very long and until a couple of minutes ago laying on my legs and Bakker on top of the sofa.

Have a good one..........

Morning All!!

Sunny and cool here today so looks like we are in for a spectacular day weather-wise.

Heading off to work shortly, catch-up day today, my boss was away on business all last week so now it's time to get all the information from that processed and sent along to the proper departments.

Not sure what I am doing after work, do have a bit of shopping I could do but that really depends on my energy..

The kitties are good this morning, squirrel watching right now..We have several black squirrels that are collecting acorns from the oak tree across the street..These are really smart squirrels they don't run across the street but instead run back and forth on the power lines..which of coarse give the cats a birds-eye view..It should keep them amused most of the day....

Everyone have a great one

Afternoon!

Do you have a high pain threshold?
You're so brave!

Anyway, today I've been lazing about at my nans, and later it's off to the hospital to visit her.

I also had a new phone bought for me (Samsung U800 Pink) so I'm just downloading songs onto it.

See yaa!!

Natalie- take something like aleve or tylenol before you go in for your wax! It'll help a bit! (You can also get some Orajel (the mouth numbing medicine) And put it on any sensitive spots to numb them beforehand.

Afterwards cool ice packs and aloe should help! Have fun
You're a brave woman!

Today was not so great here- went to the doctor and it didn't go so super.
After that I came home and have just been resting on the couch since then (they took a bunch of blood so i'm just feeling a bit "blahh" right now.)

Tonight i'm not sure what i'm going to do aside from working on my fish tank a bit. I need to do a partial water change and feed them all their blood worms (gross!)

Natalie,
Don't worry about the waxing. I get it done all the time and I think what I get is called beyond Brazilian.
After awhile, the hair gets softer and doesn't grow in as fast. I will say, though, it helps if the esthetician is skilled.

Just doing laundry and taking our son to the allergist and the usual shopping.

Lazer Electrolysis is the way to go. I had some tummy hairs. 75$ one treatment and gone forever. Different situations respond differently, but maybe look into it. I was thinking about having my whole legs done, but that was much more expensive. Wouldent it be nice to never have to shave your legs again?

Well.............let me tell you about my wax...

The technician was NOT skilled..not only did she get a piece of wax stuck to me and then have to rip my skin a number of times to get it of...but ALSO there are a number of "strays" and the hairs weren't ripped out by the roots...it feels like I shaved!!!

Thankfully it was free due to the gift certificate, but I will never go there again for that.

Total disappointment...especially after all that pain? Boooooooooo.
