Thanks! When the vet saw the second cat with the same "lump", he agreed that the first cat must have had a swollen gland (that's what I said it was) too and not a bite or local infection. Anyway, he thinks it's just a really bad virus strain and since I have many cats, they have been passing it around. Another cat swelled up too and so several are on Baytril until we knock it out.
