I need help with my computer

I have a problem and was wondering if anyone can help. I uploaded pics from the camera to the sony and installed the software. Now the sony keeps saying configuring updates and keeps shutting down. It will not boot of all.i tried uploading thepics to my mac but it didnt work.

I'm not sure I'm following you. Are you saying that you loaded pix from a "regular" camera onto the Sony digital camera? I didn't realize that you could even do such a thing..

Or were you trying to load pix from the Sony digital camera onto the computer?

I think she means the Sony is her computer?

Do you have the computer cable or memory card still plugged into the computer? It may think it is a bootable disk (like windows etc) and try to install it. Or a CD in one of the disk drives?

I always find a card reader easier for transferring pics to my computer rather than the software that comes with the camera.

What version of computer operating system and camera software were they? They may not be compatible.
