Swollen Stomach!

Let me start by saying i live in a small town with no emergency vets office. It being saturday my cat has to have a problem. She is swollen up and hiding under my bed. I never find that cat under my bed. She has been running from me and her tummy is hard as a rock. I don't know what to do. I've thought about maybe giving her something to help her poop but what? and what if that makes it worse. She stays inside as do the other cats and i doubt it would be worms. I'm really really at a loss....

Call your vet, they should have a recording that does tell you who to call/where to go in an emergency. Drive to wherever it is. I would not wait if this were my cat...not if her belly is truly swollen and hard and this wasn't a gradual change w/pregnancy a possibility.

This sounds very serious. Call the vet's office.
