another tragic loss

my dh rang me at 6.30 this morning on his way to work. he had seen a small tortie cat dead in the road. he wanted me to ring someone to report it. he was really upset.

i hope your passing was quick little one. you're safe now across the bridge where nothing can hurt you again. RIP

i rang the local rescue center that morning first thing and they came out to look for her. the lady rang me to confirm she was in the right road, drove up and down but couldn't find her. we think that either the owner was told or found her. very sad.

dh was upset also because she looked very similar to tabitha.
