So Monday is the day they try to fix my knee. I go in at 10:00 A.M. MDT. It's been painful and I've hardly been able to walk since the fall I had at work last March. I'll have three small incisions and the doctor will clean up some bone fragments and arthritis in my knee. I may be able to go home same day. But maybe not. My blood sugar goes way up when I have surgery so it depends on how that goes. If it goes way up then I'll have to stay in the hospital over night and get insulin. Plus I have pretty bad asthma and high blood pressure so if there is any sign of a potential problem, they'll keep me. It seems like I have surgery every few years and I've always tolerated it well. But each time, I can't help but think that someday my luck is going to run out. I'm sure I'll be fine but I'm sure you all can imagine how it is or you know from experience! So if you could all keep me in your thoughts?
