Our kitty Crackerman seems to have a problem with sneezing. Ever since we've had him *about 4 months now* he's had a problem with coughing or sneezing. At first he was coughing up phlegm. We have taken him to the vet about this and they told us it was a respiratory infection. They gave us some meds which seemed to clear up the cough and phlegm issue.
But he still continues to sneeze about 10 times a day. He also has some crusty residue around his eyes. I'm thinking he must be allergic to something. I'm thinking about taking him back to the vet to get this checked out. Do they prescribe antihistamine meds for cats? I wonder if it's safe to give him bynadryl...I know some people who give their dogs this for allergies.
Anyway, I was just curious if anyone has or had a cat with a sneezing problem and what all you did to make your cat feel better. Thanks!
