Yucky as it sounds, though, I am still waiting for her to poo...she's urinating good, but has not poo'd yet, even though she has eaten plenty now.
Soon as that happens, then I will know for sure we are totally out of the woods...
Oh my goodness! I'm so glad she's doing well! I just ment by my earlier post that I was hoping for some good progress/stable for sure. Thank goodness she's doing well!

I am glad that Sophie has mad it through this. My dog also Sophie (a toy pom) was poisoned last spring. It has left her with congestive heart failure. She is not the same dog, she can't play or go up and down stairs. I am like you, at least she is alive. I hope that your Sophie goes poo soon. I still haven't found out how our little girl was poisioned. She is never out of the back yard. I beleive our neighbours who have mice, were poisoning the mice, and maybe Sophie ate one. It is heart breaking that someone could be so thoughtless.

I am so sorry to hear this. Sending many healing vibes your way!

People who would do that to an animal do not deserve the title of 'human.'

Please keep us updated.

She is slowly getting better; still not really eating what she should, and throwing up everyonce in a while. She's staying hydrated though, which is a great thing; I hate having to inject fluids into them...she hates needles...Lol! Poor girl, I miss the boucy border collie that she normally was before this...

However, a good thing...her sight seems to have come back, atleast in part...her pupils still stay dilated more than they should, but at least she can see again!

Well...I'm far from being 'normal'...I guess inside I am a bit of a basket case; I'm just good at staying calm 'outside' without making everyone around me nutz...

I have kind of given up on her normal premium diet, for now; anything I give her, that is solid, or canned diet just comes back up. But last night I gave her a raw bone, that had a bit of meat on it, and that stayed with her...so I am hoping raw will help get her back on her way to health.

Sophie is gradually getting more and more better; she still randomly throws up, but she is bright and perky, and her sight is definitely pretty much perfect again. Thanks for the vibes everyone!

Just to say well done and hope she continues to improve. It certainly sounds as if she is well on the road to recovery.
