Kitten has discharge from genitals, what to expect at the vet?

My kitten that I think is female is having a mucus-y discharge from her vagina, with a tiny spot of blood. When I stimulate her to urinate, the urine wipes brownish, but drips clear-yellow onto paper towels.

What should I expect at the vet? What will they be looking for?

Kitten is between 2-3 weeks old, eats well, sleeps fine, very active.

Most likely an infection. The vet will most likely prescribe oral antibiotics like Amoxicillian or Clavamox. This has happened to a couple of our kittens and it ended up being no big deal. The Antibiotics took care of it after one course.

I agree. She needs some care sooner than later.

Thank you for the replies. The vet decided it was irritation and dehydration. He gave her fluids and I'm feeding the two kittens with separate bottles so the girl can get a more diluted formula.

I can't wait to see those little guys grown up Xourtney, you are doing great with them.
