RIP little ones....

I think the next time someone brings me a litter of tiny motherless kittens, I'm going to pass, my heart and soul can't stand the pain right now. Despite all we could do, the last of the five @3 week old babies passed away this morning.....I know they're better off, and Sweet Pea welcomed them at the bridge, but still......I have no pics but there were:

one grey fuzzy boy
one dilute tortie
one fuzzy tuxedo
one brown tabby
and the runt of the litter, a tortie, who funnily enough, was the last to leave us.

please don't pass up the next ones - they need you. if you have the love in your heart to give, you always should no matter how battered it is. people like you put light in their little lives, even if they only have that light for a day, you have given them such a gift.

I had the same thing happen also. Sorry they all died.

Sending healing prayers and vibes to your poor heart That is such a painful loss, no matter how many kitties you have, and how many you've lost - it never gets easier. But you have had successes, too, and you will again in the future. And those little ones who have passed must have rejoined their mama-kitty over the Bridge - guess Heaven needed them all right away, they were that special

I fear the same for us. I know I will eventually get a litter that won't thrive.
But the thing is for 3 weeks these kittens were loved and cherished. They left this world in peace.
RIP little sweeties.

How very sad. I'm so sorry. Rest in peace little ones.

it's a wonderful thing you do but the pain must be unbearable sometimes. i'm not sure i could be as strong as you. but please hold on to the fact that in their short little lives you showed those precious babies love and hope.
