I totally inspired myself on my spam thread to have a thread about things you had, used, etc. from the past that you nearly forgot about!

Do they make these anymore?????

Dunno - haven't eaten one, in years. I remember their slogan, though - "Sugar Daddy has the looongest lick, on a stick."

Do you remember Space Food Sticks? They were around, in the early 70s.

lol I LOVE sugar daddies, I think they might sell them at target? Or at least the sugar babies! I used to eat them all the time when I'd go out on the adoption nights for the agency's I worked with to adopt dogs out of petco. I'd always have them in my car. =p

I know how to make them at home too!

When I was a kid, in the late 60s, we could buy chocolate marshmallows. They were GOOD!

How about Pop Rocks? You know, those little sugar rocks that explode on your tongue?
I LOVED those! I still see them every once in a while, but they are pretty hard to find.

Walgreen's has Pop Rocks. They were off of the market, for a while. One of those silly urban legends had a kid drinking soda, with them and his head exploded.

Princess: Well it's not EXACT! I don't put in all that "sugar gluten" whatever nonsence!

But it does taste great! And very similar, you just have to come up with a good way to keep it fresh and cut it up quickly into peices.

It happened on accident when I was a little girl, trying to make home made rice crispy treats.
Do everything the same as you would to make rice crispy treats, just don't put the cereal in!! And turn the heat up a little bit more then normal so that the marshmellows and butter carmelizes, it will turn the colour of a sugar daddy, take it out while it's still really warm, cut it up, slice it, or you can just have one HUGE roll of a sugar daddy, hahaha, and then put it in a container to keep it fresh and eat up!

How about these? I know you can still get them in central and Western PA, but it's impossible to find them in the Philly area anymore. I loooove Smoothies and miss them! They are so much yummier than Reese's PB cups!
