Stinky cat breath in my nose
What time is it, I don't know
Tickly whiskers in my face
No such thing as personal space
A furry body by my head
Trying to get me outta bed
It is like this everyday
Wakin' up the Popsie way.

Oh wow that's good!!

My morning ritual goes like this...

Sandpaper kisses
On a cheek or a chin
That is the way for a day to begin!
Sandpaper kisses,
A cuddle, a purrr,
I have an alarm clock
That's covered in fur!

I didn't write that, but that is what my mornings' are like, and I was read that poem when I was like 4, and have never forgotten it

Although, my mornings usually have me going downstairs at 4am to feed her when she won't shut up!
