May have eaten a bit of onion

When I was mixing my meat loaf the other night a bit of onion escaped the bowl and landed on the floor. I was going to pick it up as soon as I was done but I forgot. Then yesterday I noticed Popsie eating something off the floor right in the area where that piece of onion fell. He vomited late last night and just now. Only foamy spit came up. He hasn't been eating much today either. Does this sound like he might be sick from that onion. If so how long will it last and is there anything I can do?

YOU need to call the vet

Just for reference it was a tiny piece of onion.

Oh OK lol. Well he is eating right now. If he vomits anymore by tomorrow I will call the vet. Thanks Sharky.
