Has anyone ever had their cat get a hormone shot to stop spraying? Im getting desperate and thinking about calling my vet to find out more about it. We talked about it a little bit last time I was there and he said its expensive (which means expensive x5 for me, ugg) and it doesnt always work but that it is worth a shot. For all of you that have pee'ers you can imagine how awful it is with five that do it, and its so hard to keep up with the constant cleaning after them.
If you've had it done do you remember how expensive it was, and did it work? Any side effects etc? I'd look into drugs for them but I dont think its an emotional issue.

i have been recommended hormone tablets for my two spraying fosters, but as they were spraying due to being unhappy at being here, I didn't want to go down that route. Good luck
